Daniel Bower
Full Name : Daniel Bower
Position : Centre Back

Daniel is the first KSB club legend. In fact, it was he who really formed the club – transforming the team from partaking in the occasional friendly to almost achieving promotion in its debut season in the SMCCFL. Bower is also a qualified accountant, and kept the books in order from 2009 to 2011. Apart from organising nearly everything there is to organise, he has primarily been the club's player-manager, up until the 2011/12 season where he took a more 'backseat' role. As a gaffer, he is assertive and confident, willing to play formations that suit the players, rather than mould his team around individuals. Never afraid to chop and change after a poor performance, he commands the respect of his players and the SMCCFL in general. On the pitch, Daniel is an immensely improved central defender and full-back. Although lacking in pace, he still gets about and even gets forward enough to try the odd long-ranger. Good in the air, but also one of the best crossers at the club, he has played in the majority of games since KSB FC's birth. Has brought himself on as the big man up front for the final few minutes in several matches to great effect.

Bower left the club in July 2012 after 3 fantastic seasons, and a record 77 appearances - culminating in the KSB's promotion to Division 2. He takes over the reins at his own Church, Christ Central - becoming manager of their Manchester Central side. There he won the Division 3 title in his first season in charge before retiring altogether to concentrate on family life.
